Why shipping costs?

We would like to keep the selling prices of our products as low as possible. The shipping costs cannot be easily assimilated in our prices, which large webshops do. To cater you, we charge no shipping costs from € 50 for orders within the Netherlands.

Living in the neighborhood? You can also choose the option to pick up at our address, which means you don't have to pay any shipping costs.

Shipping within the Netherlands

For all orders under € 50, we charge € 3.99 or € 4.25 shipping costs, depending on the shipping carrier. If it’s small package with, for example some facemasks, we will send it as a letterbox package. If it concerns a larger package, it will be delivered with the regular package service.

We strive to ship orders within 1-2 business days carried out by either PostNL, DHL, UPS or DPD. With both the letterbox packages and the larger packages you automatically receive a track & trace code by e-mail which you can use to track the shipment. Orders are often delivered the next working day, but we cannot guarantee this as this is in the hands of the carrier. The shipping costs are automatically calculated in the shopping cart. This can vary per option.

Shipping outside the Netherlands

The shipping costs are automatically calculated per country in the store when you place your order. This is possible for every EU country. The rates vary between € 3.95 and € 24.95. Whe the package is sent from Eastern Essentials you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail with your Track & Trace code.

Undeliverable Shipments & Carrier Surcharges

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to circumstances attributable to the recipient — including but not limited to absence at delivery, refusal of delivery, failure to collect from a pickup point, incorrect or incomplete address details, inaccessible delivery locations, unavailable recipient, missing signature where required, or expired temporary accommodation addresses — any additional shipping, return, storage, or handling costs incurred may be charged to the customer or deducted from any refund.

Remote area, out-of-delivery-area (ODA), island, customs, fuel, address correction, or other carrier-imposed surcharges that are not reasonably foreseeable at checkout may be invoiced separately after order placement where applicable.

Packaging

In addition to our regular shipping packaging, we will occasionally reuse shipping material from our partners. With this recycling policy we would like to limit environmental pollution, while also packaging the products as well as possible for transport.
